Ohio kid, age 6, who is blind, learned to play the piano by ear and is now capable of playing beautiful renditions of well-known tunes.
When they are five or six years old, children frequently begin learning how to play the piano or other instruments. The 6-year-old Avett Ray Maness is not your normal little child. Avett is an exception compared to other kids, who can play a few simple tunes and identify a few notes. Avett learned how to play the piano by ear as a young child. If it wasn’t impressive enough on its own, the fact that he is blind makes it much more so. The six-year-old from Dayton, Ohio is a piano prodigy, it turns out.

When Avett was born, doctors discovered he had optic nerve fibroplasia, a retinal condition. As a result, he lost all vision in one eye and nearly all vision in the other. Avett is legally blind and uses a cane to walk. He has also started reading Braille. Avett, who had eyesight problems, began playing his first tune on the piano at the age of eleven months. As soon as he was able to get up and approach the piano, he began to play. He could recognize simple melodies, such “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” by that point.

In his first well-liked video, Avett begged his mother to submit his compositions to Adele, his favorite performer. He was so adorable that the video of him asking his mother to email Adele for him quickly became popular. A neighboring news station immediately published the young prodigy’s story after learning about him. Sara Moore, Avett’s mother, has said that “music is in his body.” He lately spent a lot of time honing his performance skills. They urge him to perform as a result of his extraordinary skill.

The workers and instructors of the Centerville, Ohio, schools have already enjoyed Avett’s entertainment. On this occasion, he entertained little under 900 people! Also, he will perform in April at a benefit concert for the Ronald McDonald House. A performance of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” by the incredibly gifted Avett may be seen in his most recent, well-liked video. Just tall enough to sit at the piano bench and reach the keys is little Avett. The young man with the glasses introduces his song briefly before beginning to perform. It’s incredible to see him play something with such certainty that he can’t even see.

Avett will not let anything prevent him from practicing the piano since it is his passion. I sincerely hope that this never changes because he doesn’t seem to be aware of his disability.
